About Westmont, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The Village of Westmont is located in DuPage County, Illinois approximately twenty miles west of the city of Chicago.  The area that is now Westmont was inhabited by Potawatami Indians until the first permanent settlers arrived in 1833.  Incorporated on November 10, 1921, the village did not see significant growth until the 1960s and 1970s, when new subdivisions and multi-family housing units burgeoned in the area, eventually doubling and tripling the population.  Today, Westmont is a vibrant community with a population of approximately 26,000 residents and growing.  Westmont is located within the U. S. humid continental climate zone and experiences hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters, perfect for lazy days on the water and fun on the sledding hills, respectively.  No matter what the season, Westmont is a great place to be any time of the year!

The Westmont Park District maintains over 150 acres of parkland and operates 16 parks within the Village, including Ty Warner Park, which features three multi-purpose athletic fields, a spray park, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, playground area, picnic facilities, bocce ball court, permanent bean bag toss, an outdoor fitness workout station, and interpretive woodland and wetland trails.  The Twin Lakes Park Complex consists of seventeen acres that include baseball and softball fields, tennis and basketball courts, football and soccer fields, picnic facilities, fishing ponds, and a paved walking path.  The park is also home to the Twin Lakes Learning Center Preschool and the Twin Lakes Golf Club.

Westmont is home to the Godfather of Blues, Muddy Waters and is the site of the Muddy Waters Historical Exhibit that features over forty photos and artifacts relative to the life of the famous blues singer.  The village hosts a tribute to Muddy Waters each July that features local up-and-coming blues artists and local professional blues bands.

The Village of Westmont is a warm and friendly village that sponsors numerous community activities and events during the year.  With its proximity to the Chicago metro area and its prime location in the heart of the western suburbs of Chicago, Westmont is truly a great place to live that is in the middle of it all!
