About Countryside, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The City of Countryside is located in Cook County, Illinois approximately fifteen miles southwest of the greater Chicago metropolitan area.  Settled by pioneers of American and European descent in the early 1800s, Countryside remained a largely rural and agricultural community until the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, which sent thousands of city dwellers into the suburban Chicago regions.  During the post WWII era, the community experienced rapid residential growth and was officially incorporated in 1960.  Today, Countryside is one of the older Chicagoland suburbs with a population of around 5,800 residents, many of them second and third generation.  The city lies in the U. S. humid continental climate zone and experiences vastly changing seasons of hot humid summers, cold snowy winters, and mildly comfortable springtime and fall weather, making Countryside just about perfect any time of the year!

Countryside is conveniently located just northwest of the convergence of Interstate 55 and the Tri-State Tollway and enjoys convenient access to the Chicago Loop.  The city is resident and business friendly with excellent community resources and numerous civic clubs, as well as a vibrant and active residential community.

The City of Countryside Recreation Department oversees nine parks in all that include six neighborhood parks, a Little League/Soccer Park, Memorial Park, and Countryside Park, which features softball and soccer fields, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, a skate park and inline hockey rink, bocce ball court, lighted walking path, and playground.  Countryside Park is also the location of the city's "Summer Concerts in the Park" series and other community-wide events.

Countryside's suburban charm and community spirit, along with its proximity to the big-city conveniences and advantages of Chicago, make it a great place to live and do business in Chicagoland!
