About Indian Head Park, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The Village of Indian Head Park is located in Cook County, Illinois approximately twenty miles southwest of Chicago.  Incorporated on August 4, 1959, the village today boasts a population of nearly 4,000 active and involved residents.

The Village lies within the humid continental climate zone of the U. S. and experiences hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters with lovely, mild weather during springtime and fall.  No matter what the season, the Village of Indian Head Park is beautiful any time of the year!

Indian Head Park is served by the Pleasant Dale Park District, which maintains and operates six municipal parks in addition to the Walker Recreation Center, Flagg Creek Golf Course, and the Chalet.  The Chalet is a multi-purpose fitness and recreational facility that features a lap pool, basketball and racquetball courts, wallyball, a dance/aerobic studio, state-of-the-art weight room, and the Mountain Top Tap, which features a big screen TV and game rooms.  For golfers, the Flagg Creek Golf Course is a public, 9-hole golf course that is reportedly one of the finest in all of Chicagoland.  The Village also owns and operates two parks independently.  They are Blackhawk Park, situated on five acres containing walking trails and a gazebo that serves as the location for the Village's Family Fun Nights and "Concerts in the Park" series, and Sacajawea Park, which features playground equipment and a gazebo.

The Indian Head Park Heritage Center, operated by the Indian Head Park Heritage Foundation, contains historical information and exhibits relative to the history of the local area.  The Heritage Center also houses a library that is maintained through donations and community volunteers.

It is easy to see that family and community are important in the Village of Indian Head Park, once known as "the best kept secret in Chicagoland" and a truly great community in which to live, work, and play!
